Writing a short story for 'Out of Darkness' was a challenge and a blast! Searching back in my 'TODO' list of book ideas I found 'The Pit'. An unfinished creepy story from my childhood growing up just outside of a small town in the dust bowl plains of the Texas Panhandle.
After writing 'Genome', a full length novel that combines lost love, ghosts and technology, I found writing 'The Pit' a great outlet. And it was fun!
I'm looking forward to mixing short stories into my novel writing. Beware of dark, stormy nights and a childs imagination!
