Some of the short stories featured in this anthology are related to Valentine's Day. This day instils fear in some and they will do anything to escape the dreaded cupid. Others are thrust into the world of romance by forces they cannot control, and some reminisce about times gone by.
"There is something for every kind of romantic in this lovely little collection of short stories. A fine group of writers has come together to put this anthology together not only for enjoyment, but also for a great cause: diabetes. So, you can read and give back at the same time! What's not to love about that? Be sure to check out "Out of Darkness" and "A Festive Feast" - the previous collections by the same (almost) authors. Well worth your time and donation." Clare Gage
"I often pick up an anthology to get a taste of different authors' styles and these stories range from the humorous to the poignant. They are all centred on the theme of Valentine's Day. They concern lovers both young and old, and I felt an underlying theme in several stories was that of lack of self-confidence and how that can hold a person back in terms of seeking love.
I enjoyed the fact that not all were starry-eyed young lovers' tales but some dealt with enduring love and older people who had stayed together. At my age it's good to read that! This book will give you food for thought and a bit of romance. If you like that, go for it." Ignite
"I loved the variety in the stories. Each author had a different take on love. I will be buying the other books in the collaboration." Deb James
"A very entertaining selection of short stories showcasing how talented these writers are. All different with their own brand of romance, culture and intrigue! And all for a very worthwhile cause." C. Wilkie
